Dukes Cottages are dog friendly cottages in Northumberland making them the ideal choice for holidaymakers who prefer to bring their furry friends along on trips. We welcome dogs with open arms, and as former dog owners ourselves we know how important it is to have them with you, so you can all enjoy the holiday.

In our cottages we provide large bowls for water and food, blankets for your dogs to join you on the sofa. Doggie beds with washable covers can also be provided if requested during booking.

Ideally located Dukes Cottages allows you to explore the beautiful North East coastline, the many parks and walks of Northumberland or the sites of Newcastle Upon Tyne as all are equally close by. We really are an ideal location for the dog friendly holiday.

For walking fans who are dog owners finding good walking routes can sometimes be a bit tricky.

So this recent website discovery by Frances Whitehead at Northumberland National Park is a real gem. Called www.dogwalks.co.uk, it focuses on North East walks. A drop-down menu lets you pick your area or walk, and most walks have a link to a map of the walk.
