Built in 1832, this traditional detached stone cottage was formerly the home of the village blacksmith, but is now known as The Cottage. This home from home has been recently renovated to a high standard to offer a cosy and comfortable stay for up to 6 people, with off road parking for 2 cars.

As you enter through the front door into the hallway, to one side is a cosy lounge with two sofas and a fantastic log burning stove for those cooler evenings and access to the walled kitchen garden.

To the left of the hallway is the dining room which comfortably seats 6 people, leading onto the new and well equipped kitchen with all you need for your self catering holiday, including a split oven/ grill and separate gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a washroom off the kitchen, as well as additional access to the walled kitchen garden.

The traditional staircase leads up to the large master bedroom with a king size bed, wardrobe, dressing table and set of drawers. The landing leads to two further bedrooms, each with double beds. The end bedroom also has an ensuite shower, wash basin and WC. The family bathroom is equipped with a shower/bath, wash basin and WC.

All the cottages are equipped with: kettle, toaster, hand held mixer, microwave, kitchenware, internet, bedding, towels, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board, dog blankets. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
