SOL in garden IMG_0780 (2)

Hi there,
I’m SOL, short for SOLEIL My dad was French but I was born and bred at Hope Farm, the renowned “Brigburn “kennels near Morpeth. Without putting too fine a point on it I’m almost Northern Royalty. I’m currently, among other things the advisor to the Dukes Cottages Management for all things Doggie.
Staying at Dukes for a holiday is great. Firstly I live next door so we can bark about owners all day long. The gardens are “Dog Proof “whatever that means, as those pesky cats still seem to get in. I’ve advised about the doggie beds (Proper Duvets in washable covers), large bowls for water and food. Covers for the arm chair so we can sit on them. I’m afraid my suggestions for a constant supply of treats, 24 /7 was not acceptable to the management but there are normally biscuits and chews available on arrival. The only strict rule is no canines upstairs, or on beds.
There are loads of walks around Northumberland and great beaches if you enjoy swimming. The new smells you find are wonderful. Sea weed, bracken and I even a found a dead seagull the other day. Nearer home just to the back of the cottages are a number of great short walks for that early morning /last thing at night stroll. that is if the humans have the energy left. Ive even got the boss to provide a map.
Well I hope to welcome you to Dukes Cottages and my very own Northumberland very soon.
